Sports Promotion Foundation, as the name stands is a non profit trust which has been working meticulously for the development and betterment of Sports in India. Founded by Educationist and Philanthropist Dr.Amit bhalla ( Vice President - Manav Rachna Group), Rajeev Gandhi Khel Ratna Awardee, Former World Record Holder, Ace Shooter, Olympian Ronjan Sodhi and promoted by Veteran Cricketer and Coach Mr. Sarkar Talwar, SPF's mission is to be able to promote sports in our nation from the grass root to the elite level. We aim at providing training solutions to players, organise events in India which match international standards, utilise existing sports infrastructure as well as build infrastructure to promote sports in all the sectors.
I commend the wonderful initiative launched by the Sports Promotion Foundation. That it has been devised by Dr. Amit Bhalla (Vice President - Manav Rachna Group) and Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna awardee International shooter Mr. Ronajn Sodhi, adds to the credibility of this novel forum to reach to young sportspersons with an aim to produce champion athletes and responsible citizens. Mr. Sarkar Talwar, one of the trustees of the SPF, is an ideal guiding force with his priceless experience as a cricketer, coach and administrator. I am pleased to say that Sports Promotion Foundation, under Dr. Amit Bhalla’s stewardship, has been working passionately to promote sporting culture in India. I wish SPF all the best to achieve its goals.

I have been associated with SPF for the better part of my shooting career. SPF has given me the opportunity to train with the likes of Rustam Yambulatav (Olympic Medalist) and now with Daniele DiSpigno (Former World Champion). Training with such stalwarts of the shooting world has improved my game tremendously. Coupled with the expertise of their sports science center, gives the athlete a complete holistic approach to competitive shooting. It's a foundation where we as athletes have the liberty to channelise our focus on our sport while leaving the rest in their capable and experienced hands.
Ronjan Sir, has been guiding me for years now, its his support and the fact that SPF has everything handled for me, which helps me focus on my training and shoot better. SPF has helped me with my higher education, with sports science support and great administrative support. SPF helps me streamline my training, while everything else is handled by them, which makes associating with them the best part.
Kudos to Dr. Amit Bhala Ji for his great work in promoting Sports Culture of our Country through the Sports Promotion Foundation. It’s of utmost importance to have charismatic sportsmen associated to any successful running of sports venture. Hence, with efforts of stalwarts like Ronjon Sodhi Ji & Sarkar Talwar Ji who are integral part of this foundation, it has been taking giant strides in providing great platform to youngsters who are making their Country proud since years.

SPF recently helped SONY INDIA collaborate with our partner Manav Rachna to conduct a trial for the section of 60 athletes in Shooting, Badminton, Table Tennis and Football who will be trained at Manav Rachna Sports Academy along with Arts of Living , in a CSR activity.
Legendary actor Shri Amitabh Bachan, recently funded SPF athlete Angad Vir Singh Bajwa, to help him train for the upcoming Olympic Games. Angad who is a quota holder to these games, has previously proved his mettle in various International and national Champions.
EO Delhi, got together with SPF for a corporate outing, where members of the organisation enjoyed the shooting sport along with interaction and motivation lectures with SPF athletes Olympian Shagun Chowdhary and International Medallist Samarjit Singh.
